A leading supplier to independent dealers, Greenergy combines reliable fuel supply with the Esso brand. To further enhance their supply offer to their dealer network, Greenergy was the first to offer EdgePetrol as standard to their dealers.
The EdgePetrol software provides station owners real-time data on volume and blended cost, and the ability to track the impact of price changes on their performance. Owner of Uplyme Filling Station, Mark Holmes, adopted EdgePetrol in November 2022 to monitor his competitors, costs, margins and fuel supply in order to grow the business in a competitive market.
When Mark moved over from a leasehold to a freehold in April 2022, he was able to begin looking at his business holistically. As a rural-located store in the Southwest of England, Uplyme Filling Station has a loyal customer base and additionally serves many road users passing through on their way to Lyme Regis.
Mark saw the potential for Uplyme to become a key service point in the community and wanted to grow and invest in the future of his business. Since Mark started using EdgePetrol through his dealership with Greenergy, he has improved his profitability and uses the EdgePetrol platform to monitor all aspects of the business which has helped establish Uplyme Filling Station as a key community resource.
