At EdgePetrol we are putting our foot on the gas and planning to accelerate our growth by four times in the next year. In order to meet these ambitious targets we will need to maximise our revenue through current and future strategic partners. This is where you, our VP Strategic Partnerships comes in.

Our users are gas stations owners around the globe who are using our software to transform the way they are working. Our customers have disposed of spreadsheets and post-it notes that they have been using for 30 years in exchange for the live, accessible and valuable insight that our software provides.

Reporting directly to the CRO- but with close connection to the CEO and working closely with other VPs- you will be critical in the evolving success of EdgePetrol and it’s revenue channels. You will be responsible for building and running the entire partnership function with a core objective to optimise the return on investment we get from current and future partners.

Whilst there are key strategic partnerships in place that need to be optimized as a priority, this role will likely evolve to include an element of business development, seeking out the most fruitful partnerships available in the market that match the ethos of our business.

Role responsibilities:

  • Act as a brand ambassador, creating a great experience for our partners when working with EdgePetrol.
  • Own the company targets for partnership revenue globally.
  • Create a scalable and repeatable process alongside other members of the EdgePetrol  (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success & Operations) that maximizes partner results.
  • Build a team from the ground up that can deliver these processes and track their progress.
  • Agree KPIs with each partner and monitor performance against them.
  • Train partners on features and benefits of EdgePetrol’s product suite.
  • Provide partners with latest best practices on sales techniques.
  • Monitor and report progress whilst creating feedback loops to configure the best chance of success.
  • Identify new partner channels and build a structured assessment to decide where EdgePetrol focus should lie against our objectives.
  • Forecast revenue to the CRO, CEO and board.

What we're looking for in you:

  • Experience as the smaller party managing larger partners in a target driven environment.
  • A track record of agreeing and achieving goals with partners.
  • The ability to be a sponge of knowledge from within our partner’ business, products, companies and industries.
  • A business development mindset, with the ability to generate new partnership agreements and grow those that have already been agreed.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Qualifications related to business of communications.
  • An understanding of the gas retail market.
  • Experience working with SaaS products
  • Knowledge of BI software tools such as PowerBI, Tableu, Looker etc.
