Sales & Marketing Operations (SMO) Manager - expanding SaaS business - EdgePetrol

That’s probably how you landed here. You are a rare breed; an SMO. And we have a great opportunity for you.


Having just closed our Series A funding round, EdgePetrol we are putting our foot on the gas (pun intended) and are planning to accelerate our growth by four times in the next year. In order to meet these ambitious targets we will need to optimise our sales, marketing and customer success functions to build a seamless end-to-end process internally and create value for external customers.


Our users are petrol stations owners around the globe who are using our software to transform the way they are working. They have deleted spreadsheets that they have been using for 20+ years (or more!) in exchange for the live, accessible and valuable insight that our software provides.


Reporting directly to the CRO- but with close connection to the VPs of sales, marketing and CS- you will be critical in the evolving success of EdgePetrol and it’s revenue channels. Your consultation and activity will drive conversion rates, shorten deal life-cycles, increase AOVs and eliminate churn.


Whilst this is an end-to-end role and experience with a certain tech stack is key, we are looking for someone who is a highly motivated self-starter. Note that as our first revenue operations hire you will be responsible for both strategy and the day-to-day running of operations.

Role responsibilities:


  • Optimisation of the EdgePetrol sales and marketing stack.
  • Analysis and reporting of key trends within sales, marketing and customer success.
  • Alignment of sales, marketing and customer success processes.
  • Increase win rates throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Identify opportunities to improve AOVs, close ratios and retention rates.
  • Build and maintain companywide best practice documentation.
  • Encourage and increase stack adoption.
  • Ensure data hygiene across all revenue tools.
  • Reduce team administration time. 


What we're looking for in you:


  • Expert at Hubspot across both Sales and Marketing.
  • Have worked with tools such as (or similar to) SalesLoft, Gong and Vidyard and pulled them together to create a seamless revenue process.
  • Experience in a SaaS organisation striving for predictable revenue growth.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to present findings quickly and simply.
  • Oversee CRM performance and engagement.

  • Experience working at a ‘high-touch’ SaaS business.
  • Exact sales/marketing stack match.
