I’m Dan, the VP of Revenue for EdgePetrol, and I’m looking for talented individuals with an entrepreneurial and fearless spirit to join our growing revenue team. 

The EdgePetrol SaaS platform solves a genuine problem for our clients in the gas retailer/c-store industry. We do this by providing actionable insights through our real-time fuel pricing software, helping our clients to say goodbye to spreadsheets, and hello to more profits! We have had incredible success in the UK (20% of the market use’s our tool!) and are launching into the US.

Our value proposition is easy to grasp and articulate - our software allows fuel retailers to make more money by managing their fuel pricing strategy/margins with a click of a button. Our product offering accompanied by our world-class customer support makes it easier than ever to boost site performance and get complete transparency across their entire retail portfolio.

Our North star is changing the way gas retailers approach and optimize their businesses the world over, leading to a truly transformational change for our clients.

We have global partners and tier 1 investors from the industry, so to spread the message and achieve our ambitious goals we need to build an amazing revenue team.

Here’s where you come in.

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will generate new business opportunities by following proven processes to prospect. We’re data driven and tech-forward, so use the best tools in the game ( etc) to increase the chance of success and support our team.

With our support, you’ll build a solid foundation for a career in SaaS sales. You’ll learn the art and the science behind sales success. We’ll teach you our sales process from soup to nuts, covering but not limited to -  best practice on identifying and researching lists of companies to target, how to develop email’s and telephone calls that convert.

You will conduct high-level conversations with prospects about their business, their challenges, and their operations to identify and qualify meetings for our senior sales team to close.

The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, tenacious, and can effectively interact with a team.

This position not only has advancement potential within the sales organization, but it is expected that you will grow into a fully-fledged Account Executive within 12-18 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities 
  • Strategize with top-producing sales managers 
  • Map prospective accounts around organizational structure and people 
  • Engage executives in targeted prospect accounts
  • Orchestrate discussions with retailers around their business needs 
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects 
  • Leverage SalesLoft and Hubspot to prospect into specific geographic territories

  • 1-2+ years sales or related sales/business experience 
  • Candidates should have one of the following: software/saas experience, sales experience, or other related business experience 
  • Hubspot and Salesloft experience a plus 
  • The ability to write succinct, crisp emails and a great phone manner
