EdgePetrol offers a data driven web app to petrol retailers, allowing them to optimise their business operations to maximise returns. Having launched in September 2017, EdgePetrol is being used by a growing number of petrol retailers across the UK.
Our intelligent software solution delivers real-time data, analytics and insight. EdgePetrol is bringing increased efficiency to how petrol retailers purchase and price fuel and operate their stations.
EdgePetrol’s founders and board members have an extensive background, knowledge and networks in upstream oil trading & downstream petrol retail. With an addressable market of 8,000 petrol stations in the UK, over 120,000 in continental Europe and 150,000 in the USA, we have a huge potential for growth with an exciting go-to-market strategy.
EdgePetrol requires a Mid-level DevOps Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer with a minimum of 2 years experience to assist the rapidly expanding engineering team in the UK. You will be responsible for ensuring that our global environments maintain their highest uptime and performance as we continue to scale across the UK & US.
You will work with our development teams to provide scalable and secure infrastructure, and execute our infrastructure strategy as we scale.
This is a hands-on role that requires a confident individual who is able to grasp new concepts and take EdgePetrol and our SaaS platform to the next level. Working with senior engineers, QA’s and the product team you will understand how to meet the needs of these departments and push our technical platform forwards.
This role reports directly to EdgePetrol’s VP of Infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in a DevOps role and have production-level exposure to AWS cloud and is looking to progress their career by working in a fast moving organisation that leverages the latest tooling to achieve scale and security in a mission critical environment.
